D's journey represents the achievement of one's dreams and goals in life. The series illustrates how the challenges of life consistently change and increase from one stage to another. In part I, the color "milky white” is utilized for the circles to represent the biggest challenges that D faces, and how it’s invisible to others. Only D can see and feel these intense obstacles. The color “ocean green” represents the few moments of happiness that give D the energy to keep going.
